Antibiotics · 10.3390/antibiotics11111523

Structure

A two-compartment model, driven by age and serum creatinine.

Study population

Neutropenia and Hematologic malignancy patients — Colombia and South America. Fitted to 14 patients and 96 concentration observations.

Covariate As reported
Age 44 ± 10.4 yr
Weight 60 (IQR 55–67) kg
SCr 0.582 ± 0.081 mg/dL

Reported as the source publication gives them — mean ± SD, or median with range or interquartile range.

Equations

The model's structural parameters as Chorus implements them.

CL=5.2(eGFR144)0.62CL = 5.2 \cdot \left(\frac{eGFR}{144}\right)^{0.62}V1=21.22V_1 = 21.22V2=28.28V_2 = 28.28Q=4.99Q = 4.99
LaTeX source
CL = 5.2 \cdot \left(\frac{eGFR}{144}\right)^{0.62}
V_1 = 21.22
V_2 = 28.28
Q = 4.99

Implementation notes

Febrile neutropenia model. Uses CKD-EPI 2021 instead of 2009. Residual widened from the paper's tight 2.5% for stable real-world fitting.
